Carnoustie skatepark finished its redevelopment in May 2015. Originally being given little more than a few ledges and a disabled ramp to skate, the skatepark now contains a full street plaza including hip, ledges, down rail, hubba, euro gap, as well as numerous ramps. the park also includes a large L shaped bowl; consisting of a small four foot section with hip, a 6 foot clam shell on the corner, and an 8 foot deep end with concrete coping.
Situated right on the beach front it can get windy, but the park is right beside the main train station with regular arrivals from Glasgow Queen Street and Aberdeen station, there is a leisure centre next to the park with public toilets, a cafe, and a coop. A small walk up the road takes you to the high street with many more shops and food options.
