Transition Extreme Skatepark (known by the locals as TX), was built in 2007 and provides the North East of Scotland with a great indoor facility for skateboarding. The park has since had a major revamp (courtesy of Scottish ramp builders Vision Ramps), the new design retains some existing elements such as the bowl and elbowed-mini-ramp whilst extending the flow of the park incorporating more street style obstacles well as a rhythm section.
The park offers beginners a great place to try out skateboarding with specific beginners sessions and lessons available. It is possibly the only indoor park that does not allow scooters to use the park so doesn't tend to have the teeming masses of kids going in all directions that many indoor parks suffer from!
